From Reading my Freshman Year from last week to this week, i really liked this weeks better. A lot of the things she was saying made me relate to my experience right now as a freshman. Some of things that i familiarized with was when she was talking about the ice breakers. I think ice breakers are really important(sometimes cheesy) but at the end of the day helpful to help people get out of their comfort zone and do new things. Also i liked the fact that she brought up how they do a lot of things to help bond the freshmen, for example each floor has a CA. They are the people who are in charge of that floor but they also do activities to try and get the girls on that specific floor to get together and bond. The mind at work was also a reading i enjoyed. It made me think a lot of my family and parents. My parents always want me to go out there and get involved in the community and do something for myself. My parents both came from nothing and they had to work really hard for everything they have achieved and they want me to achieve even more than they ever have. They always say how they want better for me than what they had growing up and thats why they pushed me so hard. Both readings this week were very relatable for me and i liked both of them a lot.
